1. Ad-interim bail cannot be allowed in a routine matter —  Powers  u/s 498 Cr.P.C. may be exercised with due care and caution especially in the case of heinous offences involving the penalty death or life imprisonment — Though grant of bail in such like cases is not a rule but the concession of anticipatory bail can be extended where it is felt that an accused person might have been falsely implicated in the case with mala fide intention and is likely to suffer injury to his dignity respect and reputation.
