- Share of the heir — If a Muslim dies leaving behind one daughter and no other heir then she takes half of the estate — Shia Law of Inheritance is also the same — In Shia Law if there is no son and is only one daughter her share is one half — If two daughters or more they inherit 2/3rd — However in Shia Law unlike Sunni law if there is one daughter she exclude all other heirs including brothers of deceased — Held: This rule is not inconsistent with rules of inheritance ordained by Allah.
