- Confirmation or rejection of pre-arrest omni bus bail allowed by High Court — There are some press statements, which are not denied by the Chief Prosecutor, in which Deputy Chief Prosecutor has stated that the appellant is a corrupt man — Numbers of complaints are pending investigation/inquiry before Ehtesab Bureau — Appellant was allowed pre-arrest omni bus bail by the High Court — It was essential for High Court that it should have confirmed or rejected the bail in light of the material during investigation — But without touching the merits of the case declined the confirmation of pre-arrest omni bus bail on the ground that the Chairman Ehtesab Bureau had proceeded on leave — Case remanded to the High Court for decision as to whether on merits the Appellant deserves the concession of pre-arrest omni bus bail.
