Repeal of law — Effect of — The law holding the field before the repeal would determine the rights — The application of amending law will have no effect to the case in hand — Unless the intention gathered from subsequent enactment is otherwise, if a provision of law is superseded or revoked through a legislative measure it is to be taken as a repeal — An amendment is the same as repeal.   2. Repeal of law shall not affect the rights accrued to a party and repeal will not affect the proceedings pending in a Court. M. Maroof Khan v. Mansoo Khan and others 2013 SCR 250 (B)
