- —object of—to achieve legal certainty— to have trust of litigants on judiciary—to avoid sense of injustice and uncertainty– -the object behind it is to achieve the legal certainty, stability and predictability and maintain the discipline in all ranks of judiciary. The deviation from the principle of stare decisis can breed a sense of injustice and uncertainty, further it may also lead to hamper trust of the litigants and the public at large on judiciary, therefore, passing of an order without taking into account the law declared by the Supreme Court account the law declared by the Supreme Court amounts to deviation from it.
