- — section 4— notification No. I-L/84 dated 20th April, 1927 — registration of sale deed — Sub-Registrar refused to register sale deed on the strength of section 4 of Land Alienation Act — held, after issuance of ‘Ijazat Nama’, section 4 of Alienation Act, was no hurdle in registration of sale deed rather this section itself provides that the definition of a state subject shall be as given in Notification dated 20th April, 1927 — transfer of land in favor of any person who is not a state subject is prohibited under section 4 of Land Alienation Act, however after issuance of ‘Ijazat Nama’ in terms of Notification dated 20th April, 1927, there is no such prohibition.
