- S. 17 — The documents mentioned in sub-section (1) clause(B) which purport or operate to create, declare, assign, limit or extinguish any right, title or interest of the value of one hundred rupees or upwards are compulsorily registerable — Agreement-to-sell which was of the value of more than one hundred rupees was to be registered compulsorily — If the same was not registered it does not create or confer any title — Even if the execution of agreement-to-sell, be admitted as correct, it does not confer any title.
