Rule 170 of Legislative Assembly procedure Rules 1975 — Internal working of Legislative Assembly —Legislative Assembly cannot exercise judicial powers — In financial matters the Legislative under Rule 170 of Legislative Assembly Procedure Rules has authority to entertain check on them or inrequire into —  The internal working of the AJ&K Legislative Assembly, Like other parliaments established in almost all the democratic countries, is the real sovereign which executes the will of the people of the State — It cannot exercise Judicial powers because the same would amount to make inroad into or transgress the powers of executive and judiciary — In financial matters, particularly misuse, embezzlement or utilization of funds, the assembly under Rule 170 of the Assembly Procedure Rules, 1975, can inquire into or entertain any check on them.
