- Ss. 4 and 6—PMDC letter dated 31.5.2012—promotion of students in next professional— criterion of—Mohi-ud-Din Islamic Medical College—MBBS/BDS studies—section 6(2) imposes a condition on the powers of Governing Body that while exercising powers and maintaining education standard, the Governing Body, in respect of making policy, coordination and maintenance of education standards, be guided by such direction as PMDC and other accreditation may issue from time to time—Governing Body constituted u/s 4, cannot travel beyond the limitations imposed by PMDC— Notification dated 31.5.2012 in unequivocal terms provides that, if a student, who fails in any subject in the annual examination shall be allowed to attend the next class till supplementary examination— If he fails to pass all the subjects in supplementary examination, then he will be relegated to the previous class—appellants could not pass all the subjects of its first professional examination in the supplementary examination, they have not right to continue in next higher class.
