- Under the P.S.C. Act and Rules framed thereunder the procedure for entry into service is :(I) the applications are called by the P.S.C. for which certain conditions are laid down must be fulfilled by the candidate i.e. qualification, age etc, (ii) P.S.C. has to hold a written and oral tests and on the basis of merit has to formulate recommendations.
