- If a person is given the responsibilities of a higher post, then he is entitled to the pay of the post — Protection of pay is only for such jobs which in status of pay are less than the incumbent of such post who has taken the charge of post through transfer and posting — Such person is provided protection of his pay and scale which he was holding prior to occupying such post by transfer and posting.
