- Murder case — terms of the compromise were accepted — diyat’ was paid to the minors of the deceased in shape of cash amounted to Rs. 1,50,000/- and the land measuring 1 kanal having value of Rs. 8,44,299/- — land was transferred to the name of minors (legal heirs) but no such objection was raised regarding the market value of the land at this time — Held: the same cannot be made a foundation to reopen the case or record the conviction against the accused, who was acquitted by the Court of competent jurisdiction.
