1. —withdrawal of resignation—-before acceptance—effect of—resignation deems as withdrawn—civil servant alleged that resignation was not voluntarily—rather obtained forcibly by the Superintendent of the Jail—no occasion to conduct inquiry when resignation withdrawn before the acceptance— when the respondent moved application/representation for withdrawal of the resignation before its acceptance by the competent authority there was no occasion to hold an inquiry as it is settled law that when a civil servant withdraws from the resignation before its acceptance by the competent authority, the resignation should be deemed to have been withdrawn.
