- Rule. 12 — AJ&K Service Tribunal Rules, 1976 — service of notice — conditions for being effective — according to statutory provisions, mere posting of notice is not service unless there is something on record to satisfy the court that the notice has been duly served. Under rule 12 service of notice through registered post is conditional with the registered post acknowledgement due. The provision of this rule require that in case of service of notice through post there must be acknowledgment receipt for the purpose of deeming that notice has been served. Bushra Siddiqa v.
